Sina Hoche is a first year graduate student in Harvard’s German Department. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in German and English literature from Julius-Maximilians Universität Würzburg, where she wrote her Bachelor thesis on Kleist’s Penthesilea. In 2012-2013 she studied at St. John’s College, University of Cambridge. Apart from Kleist, Sina’s interests include 19th and 20th-century literature and culture, representations of sexuality and violence, cultural studies as well as literary theory.
