In this reading group, we will discuss the syntactical and conceptual acrobatics of short prose forms ranging from the Romantic fragment to the philosophical aphorism. Authors include: Friedrich Schlegel, Novalis, Georg Lichtenberg, Kafka, Walser, Nietzche, and Adorno. Participants are welcome to stop by for open-ended intellectual discussion without having attended previous sessions.
