We are delighted to announce that Simone Stirner, Ph.D. Berkeley, has just joined the German Department, coming from Vanderbilt University via a Research Fellowship in Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan. She is a scholar and teacher of German and Comparative Literature and works on 20th-Century and Contemporary poetry, German-Jewish studies, queer studies, and intersections of poetics and craft practices.
