Staatsexamen in German and English, Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen
David Pister has studied in Frankfurt/Main and Tübingen. Having received his Staatsexamen in 2012, he joins Harvard’s Graduate Program in 2013. His Staatsexamen thesis examined psychoanalytic case studies of the 19th and 20th century. Additionally, he broadened his academic scope by publishing on Robert Walser, Euripides, and Heinrich von Morungen. Apart from a deep academic interest in psychoanalysis from a cultural studies perspective, his fields of interest include literary approaches to law, ethics, and mythology.
