Simone Stirner Receives Jordan Schnitzer First Book Publication Award

Assistant Professor of Germanic Languages and Literatures Simone Stirner has been awarded a 2025 Jordan Schnitzer First Book Publication Award, administered by the Association for Jewish Studies for her book Poetic Grief: Form and Remembrance after National Socialism. The book is forthcoming in 2026 with Fordham University Press, in the series Verbal Arts: Studies in Poetics. You can learn more about the book here.
